Patrick’s Professional Experience

Patrick Corr has worked as a commercial & corporate lawyer for over 15 years. For over a decade Patrick has also been a founder, director, and involved in the management of various companies.

Patrick’s legal clients have ranged from public, private and ASX listed companies, to individuals and not-for-profits. 

Patrick has held the positions of Chairman, Executive Director and Non-Executive Director for a number of ASX listed companies, as well as other directorships of public and private companies in Australia and internationally.

Patrick’s international business experience is extensive. He has acted for many clients with foreign interests and has conducted multi-jurisdictional transactions. Having also spent considerable time physically located in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Africa (primarily Cameroon, Guinea and Madagascar) and Canada, Patrick has personal experience of doing business overseas.

Patrick was until recently a director and chairperson of Perth based not-for-profit organisation, Ocean Heroes.  Ocean Heroes’ mission is “to improve the wellbeing of those on the autism spectrum and their families through surfing.” 

Patrick enjoys working alongside well intentioned people who are pursuing their own positive aspirations. 

Patrick’s Personal Passions

Patrick is an ocean lover, so he is well served being based in Western Australia. Surfing, spearfishing, freediving, fishing, camping and hiking are all passions.  Patrick’s wife is from Vancouver, so he has also inherited a passion for mountain air and snowboarding.

Patrick is an avid reader.  He particularly appreciates the enduring wisdom that has been passed along over the ages through literature.

Patrick is passionate about living holistically and sharing time with the special people in his life.

Part of living holistically for Patrick involves using his vocation as a lawyer to develop strong relationships with clients, and to serve them in a way that helps them get the most out of their commercial lives. The hope is that by doing this, clients become more able to focus their energy where they choose to. Being witness to this occurring is of great reward to Patrick.
